"20/20" REPORTS ON THE EXPLOSIVE TOM FALLIS MURDER TRIAL
Airing Friday, April 1, 10 p.m. EDT on ABC
The verdict is in - and in less than four hours. "20/20" reports on the explosive Tom Fallis murder trial in Colorado. Fallis was accused of murdering his wife Ashley after it was originally ruled a suicide in 2012. Ashley's mother never believed her daughter would have killed herself and argued that the police did not investigate properly, because Tom Fallis worked for the county sheriff's department. She doggedly got a local news reporter to investigate, who, two and a half years later, found people who came forward to say they had heard incriminating statements that night -leading to a new investigation and an indictment. ABC News correspondent Ryan Smith has up-to-the-minute interviews, Fallis' law enforcement interrogation tapes and exclusive interviews with key members of the police department at the center of the investigation. "20/20" airs FRIDAY, APRIL 1 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EDT) on the ABC Television Network.
"20/20" is anchored by Elizabeth Vargas and David Muir. David Sloan is senior executive producer.
