The project "centers on pioneering journalist Nancy Dickerson, chronicling her trailblazing journey through the high-powered world of 1960s Washington, D.C., to become a prominent political journalist and eventually the first woman to anchor a TV news show." Stephen Colbert and Evelyn McGee Colbert are the executive producers with Workman as a co-executive producer and Dickerson as an associate producer. (Deadline.com)
HERE AND NOW (HBO) - The pay channel has canceled the series after one season. Ellis will also serve as an executive producer. (Deadline.com)

Handsome, confident, and powerful, Don leads his team with alacrity and intelligence. He appears to be a big Jane supporter but in fact may be standing in the way of her career advancement. Don also harbors a Purge night secret." (Deadline.com)
RESIDENT, THE (FOX) - Nkechi Carroll has signed a multi-year overall deal with Warner Bros. TV. The pact spells the end of her run at 20th Century Fox TV, where she most recently served as a co-executive producer on the aforementioned FOX drama. (Deadline.com)
