24 (FOX) - Dana Walden (Chairman and CEO, Fox Television Group) gave an update during today's pre-upfront conference call about the franchise's future. "So Howard Gordon is working with a team of writers. He's actually working with Bob Cochran and Joel Surnow, the original creators on one idea that we're pretty excited about. It's premature, it's too early to announce it, but they've been working and ideating around where the show wants to live next. So we're excited about that."
9-1-1 (FOX) - The network announced during today's upfront presentation Jennifer Love Hewitt is joining the cast as Buck's (Oliver Stark) sister, who will take over for Connie Britton as 911 operator. Additionally, season two will premiere Sunday, September 23 following the NFL doubleheader before settling into its new Monday home.
BETTER CALL SAUL (AMC) - Stefan Kapicic will recur on the upcoming fourth season in a top secret role. (THR.com)

GHOSTED/LA TO VEGAS (FOX) - Dana Walden told reporters during the network's pre-upfront conference call a decision has yet to be made about both series. "Ghosted" will return in July, after which its fate will be determined. As for "Vegas," she said "if we have a great opportunity and a big eventized first episode, that's a show we would order. If we can't figure out a way to really make some noise with it and attract a new and bigger group of viewers, we probably won't do it."
HAP AND LEONARD (SundanceTV) - Author Joe Lansdale took to Twitter to reveal SundanceTV has canceled the series after three seasons. (@joelansdale)
L.A. CONFIDENTIAL (CBS) - CBS Television Studios plans to shop the passed over pilot to other networks, beginning with sibling CBS All Access. (Deadline.com)

PRISON BREAK/THE X-FILES (FOX) - Michael Thorn (President, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company) told reporters prior to today's upfront that a new season of "Prison Break" is "in the early stages of development, and we're just focusing on getting the next iteration right. We're working with Paul Scheuring and the producers on that right now. I don't anticipate there would be any kind of significant announcements for several months." As for "X-Files," he said, "We're really pleased with how [the show] did this past season. It's been a great show for our network, but there's no plans to do another season at the moment."
