ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT (Netflix) - The streaming service has quietly revealed the upcoming fifth season, due on May 29, is being split into two eight-episode parts. No date was given for the back half. (@seewhatsnext)
BOYS, THE (Amazon) - Elisabeth Shue has joined the cast of the upcoming superhero drama as Madelyn Stillwell: "Corporate and formidable Madelyn is the Vice President of Hero Management for Vought, in charge of the public persona as well as the assignments of the Superheroes. Madelyn is a tough negotiator who rides roughshod over public relations dilemmas, such as when Superhero A-Train accidentally kills an innocent bystander and damage control needs to be done at any price, or when a city Mayor requests a Superhero for his own beleaguered town." (Deadline.com)
FBI (CBS) - Producers plan to recast Connie Nielsen's role on the upcoming drama. She played FBI Special Agent in Charge Ellen Toy: "A deeply respected boss, she is elegant, cultured, and operates under massive pressure - political, public and self-imposed. She deals by being highly organized and disarmingly direct. She'll do anything for her agents who earn it, and is impossible to intimidate." (Deadline.com)
GOOD BEHAVIOR (TNT) - The cable channel hasn't made a final decision about the show's future. "I don't see multiple more seasons of it but there could be a way to cap that off for the audience that really loved it," said network president Kevin Reilly. "Right now it's not in the planning stages, but we have talked to the producers. If I can get the real estate and the cash flow going to cap it off properly we'd figure it out." (Deadline.com)
IN THE DARK (The CW) - The recently ordered drama plans a casting change: Austin Nichols who played Dean, "a salt-of-the-earth cop," will not be returning. Producers plan to recast the role. (Deadline.com)
LAST SHIP, THE (TNT) - As expected, the cable channel has confirmed the upcoming fifth season - which was shot back-to-back with season four - will be its last. (Deadline.com)
MAD ABOUT YOU (TBA) - CBS is reportedly in talks with Sony Pictures Television to land the show's revival starring original cast members Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt. NBC, who carried the original run, passed in the early stages. (TVLine.com)
