DARE ME (USA) - The drama pilot, set in the cutthroat world of competitive high school cheerleading, has cast Rob Heaps as Matt French, "the hardworking husband of cheerleading coach Colette French (Willa Fitzgerald)"; Zach Roerig as Sarge Will Mosley, "the head Marine recruiter stationed in Sutton Grove High School"; Paul Fitzgerald as Bert Cassidy, "a Sutton Grove real estate developer, father of two cheerleaders on the squad, and the number-one cheer booster"; Joyful Drake as Faith Hanlon, "Addy's (Herizen Guardiola) grounded and very loving single mother"; Tammy Blanchard as Lana Cassidy, "Beth's (Marlo Kelly) world-weary, former beauty queen mother, who spends most of her days in a palatial and lonely McMansion"; Antonio J. Bell as Michael Slocum, "Addy's friend and neighbor"; and Alison Thornton as Tacy Cassidy, "a freshman member of Sutton Grove's dazzling cheerleading squad who's eager to step out of the shadows and secure a spot at the top of the pyramid." DESIGNING WOMEN (New!) - A reboot of Linda Bloodworth-Thomason's former CBS staple - about "the lives of four women (played by Dixie Carter, Delta Burke, Annie Potts and Jean Smart) who worked at Sugarbaker & Associates, a design firm in Atlanta Georgia" - is being developed by producer Sony Pictures TV. Bloodworth-Thomason is attached to the new incarnation, no details of which were given. (TVLine.com)
DYNASTY (The CW) - Maddison Brown has been cast as new series regular Kirby Anders, "the daughter of Carrington estate manager Joseph Anders." (TVLine.com)
FOR ALL MANKIND (A.K.A. UNTITLED MOORE, NEDIVI & WOLPERT PROJECT) (Apple) - Joel Kinnaman, Michael Dorman and Sarah Jones have scored the lead roles on the upcoming drama, which explores what would have happened if the global space race had never ended. Kinnaman will play Edward Baldwin, "one of the top NASA astronauts"; with Dorman and Jones as Gordo and Tracy Stevens, "one of the prominent NASA couples." Dorman's casting is in first position to Amazon's "Patriot," which has yet to roll out its second season. (Deadline.com)
INSTINCT (CBS) - Travis Van Winkle will recur on the series' second season as Ryan Stock, "a quiet, ex-military police officer from Nebraska. Stock travels to New York City as part of a task force in pursuit of a killer from his home town that he believes to be responsible for a murder in Manhattan." (TVLine.com)
LETHAL WEAPON (FOX) - Matt Miller has inked a new three-year, eight-figure overall deal with producer Warner Bros. Television, his home since 2007. (THR.com)
REPRISAL (Hulu) - David Dastmalchian and Rhys Wakefield are the latest additions to the Abigail Spencer-led drama pilot. Dastmalchian will play Johnson, "as the longest standing member of The 3 River Phoenixes, Johnson has chosen to take a backseat to his placement in their hierarchy." Wakefield then will portray Matty, "scrappy, sturdy, and perhaps the most dedicated to The Banished Brawlers' cause, Matty has been paying his dues as one of The 3 River Phoenixes for far too long." RESIDENT, THE (FOX) - Tanc Sade will guest on the show's sophomore run as Josh Robinson, "a professional extreme adventure guide whose story takes a highly unexpected turn when he is treated by Dr. Conrad Hawkins (Matt Czuchry) at Chastain Park Memorial Hospital." (TVLine.com)
TOM CLANCY'S JACK RYAN (Amazon) - Phil Abraham is set to executive produce and direct the first two episodes of the show's recently ordered second season. (Deadline.com)
UNBELIEVABLE (Netflix) - Elizabeth Marvel and Liza Lapira are the latest additions to the limited series, which is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning article by The Marshall Project and ProPublica, "An Unbelievable Story of Rape." No details about their roles were given. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED CHUCK ROSE PROJECT (NBC, New!) - Writer Chuck Rose and director Julie Anne Robinson are set to team for a new drama at the Peacock, about "when a series of murders are predicted on a radical conspiracy blog, it puts the blogger in the crosshairs of an astute NSA agent. But when they find that they may be the next target, an unlikely alliance forms as the blogger and the NSA agent team up to discover the truth, pulling them into a larger mystery than either of them could have imagined." They'll executive produce the hour for Universal TV with CannyLads Productions' Kelly Pancho serving as a producer. (Deadline.com)
