ADAM & EVE (FOX) - Luca Luhan and Jaynee-Lynne Kinchen are the latest bound for the Odette Annable/Ryan Hansen-led comedy pilot, which follows one couple at three stages of their relationship - young and passionate, middle-aged with kids, and navigating retirement. They'll play their kids, Casey and Beth, respectively.
COURTHOUSE (CBS) - Simone Missick has scored a lead role on the legal drama pilot as Lola: "Over the course of her impressive career as a Deputy District Attorney, Lola was known to be independent, formidable and, occasionally, wildly impulsive. As a newly appointed judge, Lola suddenly has more power. So she doesn't sit back on the bench; Lola leans in - immediately pushing boundaries and challenging expectations of what a judge should be." (Deadline.com)
DEATH IS MY BEST FRIEND (Syfy, New!) - Lindsey Rosin is developing a small screen take on Katarina Tonks's Wattpad book series, which "tells the coming-of-age story of Faith Williams, an ordinary teenage girl who on the eve of her 18th birthday discovers that she is the product of a prophecy, which makes her responsible for protecting the balance of all good and evil on earth." The project is set up at Sony Pictures Television with Greg Silverman and Paul Shapiro of Stampede and Aron Levitz and Eric Lehrman of Wattpad likewise executive producing. (Deadline.com)
DYNASTY (The CW) - Michael Michele has been cast as Dominique Deveraux on the reboot series, "the matriarch of the Colby family and half-sister of Blake Carrington, a fabulously elegant, self-made woman, known for her outrageous fashion sense and penchant for drama." Diahann Carroll played said role in the original series. (Deadline.com)
GLAMOROUS (The CW) - Chester Lockhart and Brady Dalton Richards are both bound for the drama pilot. Lockhart will play Dizmal, "a non-binary drag performer and nightlife fixture who opens Marco's eyes to everything the city has to offer a young queer person." And Richards is Ben, "an insecure and endearing young assistant who develops a workplace crush on Marco." (Deadline.com)
KENAN SHOW, THE (NBC) - Dani Lockett and Dannah Lockett will both join the Kenan Thompson-led comedy pilot as his daughters Emma, "who is good-hearted and trusting almost at her peril"; and Sophie, "who is less trusting than her sister," respectively. (Variety.com)
LINCOLN (NBC) - Tate Ellington has been tapped for a role on the Russell Hornsby-led drama pilot as Felix, "who is part of the CSI team and quick to speak his mind." (Deadline.com)
LOVESTRUCK (FOX) - Jacob Ming Trent, Catero Colbert, Ashleigh Brewer, Mia Isaac and Casey Simpson will round out the cast of the drama pilot, in which the entire first season takes place over the course of a single night at a wedding. Trent will play Ali, Alex's (Steve Kazee) other best friend; with Colbert as Damon, Kate's (Linda Park) hipster husband; Brewer as Greta, Nigel's (Richard Roxburgh) supermodel wife; Isaac as Claire, the aforementioned Kate and Damon's daughter; and Simpson as Harry.
MERRY HAPPY WHATEVER (Netflix) - Bridgit Mendler, Brent Morin, Ashley Tisdale, Adam Rose and Hayes MacArthur have all been cast in the Dennis Quaid-led comedy series, about Don Quinn, a strong-willed patriarch who must balance the demands of his complicated family with the stress of the Christmas season when his youngest daughter, Emmy (Mendler), comes home for the holidays with a new boyfriend, Matt (Morin). Tisdale plays Kayla, "recently separated from her husband, desperately trying to figure out what's next, and making everyone in the Quinn household as miserable as she is." Rose then is Todd, "a beleaguered son-in-law who is perpetually frustrated by the close-knit family he married into and copes by venting and drinking with his fellow in-laws"; and MacArthur is Sean, "the only son of the Quinn family, a working-class family man who's just trying to keep his head above water so he can watch the Eagles game in peace." (Deadline.com)
NANA (ABC) - Kimberly Quinn and Jolie Hoang-Rappaport have both scored roles on the comedy pilot, in which widowed dad Alex (Ben Lawson) is forced to invite his brash and bawdy mother-in-law - Nana (Katey Sagal) - into his home to help raise the two granddaughters she barely knows. They'll play said girls, Audrey and Claire, respectively.
NEW YORK UNDERCOVER (ABC) - Joseph "Fat Joe" Cartagena has been tapped for a role on the sequel series pilot as Beto, "described as a villainous gangster." (Variety.com)
neXt (FOX) - Elizabeth Cappuccino and Evan Whitten are the latest additions to the AI thriller drama pilot. She'll play Abby: "A smart college who is somewhat estranged from her father, Paul (John Slattery), and has learned how to live without him in her life." And he's set as Owen, Shea (Fernanda Andrade) and Ty's (Gerardo Celasco) son. (Deadline.com)
PATTY'S AUTO (FOX) - H. Michael Croner will round out the cast of the multi-camera comedy pilot as Fisher, "who works for Bill at the Muffler Men auto repair shop across the street, but hangs out at Patty's whenever he can. Because he's raising two little girls on his own, he is determined to figure out what a feminist is and become one." (Variety.com)
PERFECT HARMONY (NBC) - Spencer Allport has been cast in the Bradley Whitford-led comedy pilot, in which a rural church choir gets the director it never thought it needed when a salty, Ivy League music professor stumbles through their door. He'll set as Cash, Ginny's (Anna Camp) son.
PERRY MASON (HBO) - Tim Van Patten has been tapped to direct and executive produce the limited series, which is officially heading into production. He'll work from a script by Rolin Jones and Ron Fitzgerald with Matthew Rhys cast in the title role. Amanda Burrell, Joe Horaceck, Susan Downey and Robert Downey, Jr. also serve as executive producers. Rhys also is a producer. (Deadline.com)
RICHARD LOVELY (FOX) - Kai Cech and Thom Nemer are both bound for the Thomas Lennon-led comedy pilot, about the disgruntled author of the best-selling children's book series, who, after a publicity fiasco involving an unexpectedly conniving foster kid, is forced into an unlikely father/son relationship that will change his life forever. They'll play Lindsay's (Nicole Sun) adorable kids, Ruby and Rex, respectively.
TITANS (DC Universe) - Chelsea T. Zhang has been cast as Rose Wilson - a.k.a. Ravager - on the upcoming second season. (@DCUTitans)
WHY WOMEN KILL (CBSAA) - Jack Davenport is the latest addition to the upcoming drama as Karl: "Seen in 1982. Karl is handsome, well-bred and "endlessly amused by his wife," Simone (Lucy Liu), whose extravagance he indulges. He knows he's a supporting player in his wife's life but happy to play his part. Karl is devastated and defeated when Simone uncovers a part of his life that he has kept hidden from her." (Deadline.com)
ZOEY'S EXTRAORDINARY PLAYLIST (NBC) - Carmen Cusack has snagged a role on the Jane Levy-led drama pilot as Joan, "a female tech pioneer who runs a tight ship at Zoey's office." (Deadline.com)
