(Deadline.com)
FAMILYSHIP (FOX, New!) - Jon Harmon Feldman has sold a potential drama to the network billed as "a soapy, character-based dramedy about a sprawling, multi-ethnic clan, that like many 21st Century families, was formed in the wake of divorce and remarriage and navigates conflict, complications and, above all, love in its own unique way." ABC Studios is behind the project, which has a penalty attached. Feldman and Jennifer Gwartz then will executive produce via their Random Hill Productions banner. (Deadline.com)

(Deadline.com)
INTO THE DARK (Hulu) - The horror franchise's December 27 installment, titled "Midnight Kiss," will feature Augustus Prew, Scott Evans, Ayden Mayeri, Lukas Gage, Chester Lockhart and Adam Faison. Carter Smith is directing from a script by Erlingur Thoroddsen. The episode "follows a group of longtime gay best friends and their resident fruit fly as they head to a beautiful desert home to celebrate New Year's Eve. One of their annual traditions is to play a game called Midnight Kiss, a sexy but ultimately dangerous challenge to find that special someone to help you ring in the New Year. UNTITLED MARY LAWS PROJECT) (Hulu) - Kaitlyn Dever and Jonathan Tucker are the first to be cast in the anthology series, based on the short stories from Nathan Ballingrud's collection. Making do in nowhere Louisiana without family, money or the hope of something better, Toni's life is a long, dark highway with no exit in sight. But when she meets Alex - played by Tucker, who can be seen in the new Charlie's Angels - Toni is forced to decide just how far she's willing to go to change her reality." Sapani will play Captain Jacob Keyes, "a dedicated military man, a war hero and a caring father. He finds that working alongside his daughter and his ex-wife is usually the cause of conflict rather than comfort." Gray then is Dr. Miranda Keyes,"a brilliant UNSC Commander who is dedicated to understanding the technology, language and culture of the Covenant, but she'll have to learn to navigate the politics of the UNSC to get what she wants."
