Monday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Tops Charts with "The Voice"

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (4/10/17):

NBC (7.965 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.6, #1) was back on top on Monday with new episodes of "The Voice" (9.751 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.0, #1) and "Taken" (4.393 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T8).

ABC (7.718 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) then was the silver draw with originals from "Dancing with the Stars" (10.138 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #2) and "Quantico" (2.877 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T10).

Next up was CBS (5.626 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) and its mix of "Kevin Can Wait" (6.066 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3), "Man with a Plan" (5.361 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4), "Superior Donuts" (5.113 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4), "2 Broke Girls" (4.668 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4) and "Scorpion" (6.274 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4).

Meanwhile, FOX (3.014 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #4) offered up fresh installments of "24: Legacy" (3.182 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T8) and "APB" (2.847 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T10).

And finally, repeats of "Supergirl" (0.905 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T12) and "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" (0.863 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T12) on The CW (0.884 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5) rounded out the night.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.5/3 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.3/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.0/4 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 0.9/3 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/2 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.2/1 with an encore.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/1 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 11 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (4/11/16):

NBC (8.661 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.0, #1) was still the demo champ on Monday with new episodes of "The Voice" (10.151 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.2, #1) and "Blindspot" (5.683 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.4, #4).

ABC (10.420 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #2) then was the number two draw with its duo of "Dancing with the Stars" (12.358 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.0, #2) and "Castle" (6.545 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T8).

Next up was CBS (7.594 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.4, #3) and its trio of "Supergirl" (6.204 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T5), "Scorpion" (8.494 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.6, #3) and "NCIS: Los Angeles" (8.085 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T5).

Meanwhile, FOX (3.574 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #4) offered up originals from "Gotham" (3.680 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.2, #7) and "Lucifer" (3.469 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T8).

And finally, new episodes of "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" (1.318 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #11) and "Jane the Virgin" (1.411 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.5, #10) on The CW (1.364 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.5, #5) closed out the night.
